We work in impoverished communities in the highlands and the islands.

We combat poverty with an array of services-8.png

We are known to the communities we serve by our names - not our organization.

WRG Services

We offer an array of services that address community needs.

Education

70% of Honduran kids do not graduate high school. Our Education Centers ensure no one falls through the cracks.

Health

Health care in the developing world needs supplementation. Our health program connects children and their parents to doctors.

Business

We support the businesses of hardworking people who want their enterprises to grow. This empowers parents to feed their children and send them to school.

Home & Family

We are embedded in the communities we serve, so we visit homes every week to understand the problems on the ground as they arise.

   Education Centers

We operate Education Centers in underserved villages, ensuring that hundreds of children stay in school each year.

We also support education in Cayos Cochinos, islands off the coast of Honduras.

Education Centers are beacons of hope within impoverished communities.

Meet Mario

Severe poverty presents challenges for youth like Mario.

Seventy percent of children in Honduras do not graduate high school.

We graduate 100 percent of the kids that attend the Education Centers.

Business

Parents want to provide for their children.

Microloans make that possible.

Our microloan program makes real financial security possible because they help small businesses grow.

This money is incredibly important to me. Without it, the bugs would eat my plants and my crop could be lost.

Every month I receive a loan I am able to make a lot more money. It’s a blessing. Without this money my children would not be able to go to school.

Health

Health care in the developing world needs supplementation.

Our health program partners with Honduran physicians to deliver medical care to those in need.

Home and Family

Many of those we work with only make less than two dollars a day.

The needs of these people are many.

Every week our team does home visits, moving from house to house, meeting new people and seeing old friends.

To those in need, we provide access to medical care and nutrition assistance.

This program ensures we are in touch with the situation on the ground.

Why Does It Work?

fisher of men.jpg

Our programs work in tandem to combat generational poverty, addressing real needs on the ground.

But most importantly, our team is comprised of Hondurans who care about their country and want to see real change.

We are a grassroots organization that is always growing.
